Lee M. Bowers II was born in Huntington, Indiana.  He is the fourth generation in his family to take up the practice of law in Huntington.  He graduated magna cum laude, Order of the Coif, from Washington and Lee University School of Law in 1988, and joined the firm as an associate.  He became a partner in 1993.  He served as a member of the City of Huntington Historic Review Board from 1991-1999, on the Board of Directors of Huntington Alert, Inc. from 1989-2001, and has served as a Board Member of Legal Services of Maumee Valley since 1989, and is its current Secretary. He is presently the Vice-President of the Huntington County Community Foundation, Inc. and a Board Member of The Historic Forks of the Wabash, Inc. In 2004 Mr. Bowers was named Pro Bono Attorney of the Year by The Volunteer Lawyers Program of Indiana Legal Services. Mr. Bowers represents the Huntington Countywide Department of Community Development, Huntington County Plan Commission, Board of Zoning Appeals, and Department of Health.  He is a member of the Huntington County (past President) and Indiana State Bar Associations.  His areas of practice focus on real estate, commercial law, domestic relations, government, civil practice, and trust and estate administration.
